What is Wyler Assurance?
Wyler Assurance is a limited powertrain warranty that covers select used vehicles at our Milford, OH, area dealership. Amelia OH drivers will only need to pay a $100 deductible for each covered repair, helping keep costs low. Coverage lasts 6,000 miles or 6 months from the mileage listed on the buyer's order at the time of purchase.
Which Cars are Covered?
Eligible vehicles must pass a multi-point inspection and go through a reconditioning process, and cannot be more than 10 years old or have more than 100,000 miles on them. Original manufacturer's warranty coverage may or may not interfere with Wyler Assurance, and some makes, models, powertrains, and equipment packages are excluded. Commercial use by prospective owners may preclude Wyler Assurance. Mason OH shoppers will not receive Wyler Assurance with vehicles sold "as-is."
What Wyler Assurance Covers
Wyler Assurance covers various powertrain components, specifically the engine block and turbocharger, transmission/transfer case, and drive axles. These components are covered by the failure of an internal lubricated part. Furthermore, gaskets and seals within each component group are covered when in conjunction with another repair. Components not mentioned are not covered.
Gasoline and diesel engine components covered include pistons, piston rings and pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and bearings, oil pump, timing chain, gears and/or belt, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods and lifters.
Covered transmission and transfer case components bands, clutch packs, gears, pumps, shafts, shift forks, shift rails, synchronizers, solenoids, torque converter, bell housing, vacuum modulator, transmission mounts, and transmission pan.
Axle and final drive housings are covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part, and all internally lubricated components are covered in addition to the axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, constant velocity and double offset joints, drive shaft center bearings, supports, and propeller shafts.
